History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his silver eyes.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well
