History: Norman lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. A true patriot, Osco would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Osco and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Uthemar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Sammal is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Gifted from a young age, Sammal studied abroad. Sammal was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sammal decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
