Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a red cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. His rusty crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His eyes are a pleasant red.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: Born to a Barkeep, his father struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Shamash was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shamash's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His white hair is braided into rings. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He worked as a nervous Shipwright and found it very stressful. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and black with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He has blue eyes and a white hat with a yellow feather.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears an entirely grey suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: William hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he loathes his own lifestyle
