History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a scimitar on his belt. His head has been shaved. His eyes are a pleasant amber.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thervan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is cut close to his head. His violet eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker green hat.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Ortegar was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
