Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Faran is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Faran hails from a village terrorized by giants. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Anselm speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Born in the south to a Miner, Anselm learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. After coming to the age of reason, Anselm took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has achieved small success as a Miner.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
