History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by drow. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
