Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born in the north to a Seamstress, Soveliss learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, and is pretty ugly. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
