History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Rathkran reached his early adolescence his Dragonborn father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
