History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Melech was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Melech's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Curran embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is an amazing painter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Curran's homeland. Curran decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Curran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Dwarven people; and he feels threatened by others
