History: He was born in a small forest village. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
