Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. A true patriot, Bertram would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, brigands burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Paggen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Wiggan and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
