History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Heartbroken, Carrie never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a Dyer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He's also a talented Dyer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

History: Gifted from a young age, Balam studied abroad. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
