History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Bather job and began his own company from there.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.
