History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Korfel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Korfel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
