History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Dagger was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: 6'6" and muscular, this western man is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His brass crest has been sun bleached extensively. He has red eyes and a blue hat with a tan feather.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow.
