History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Zaffrab alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
