History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Chay. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

History: Rimple was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Healer. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Healer and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Ratanák was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ratanák alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Sun was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Body Guard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
