History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Randal was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born to a Ploughman, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
