History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Map Maker arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people

Description: This tall, slender man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He's in love; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. His white eyes peer out from beneath his small green hat.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is a great chef.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Being a Farmer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
