History: Shifting was born the youngest of three triplets. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He takes great joy in being the best Knight in town.

History: Dayereth hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.
