Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Manfred enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.
