His mother taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and white handkerchief worn on his left side. His fur, while still mostly orange, has prominent grey streaks. This copper eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shivering grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized pastel coat. He is physically well-built. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: Kellen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Laborer for hire.
