Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He became a Miner soon after.

He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Broce was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
