Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Ar-Pratu speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.
