History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A freak accident while working with his Weaver mother left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: 3'8" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He sports a flattop hair cut. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Umpen is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Umpen was born with his father's beautiful face. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is greedy

Description: This man stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a sword on his belt. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
