History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Pûg took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Rurik learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He tends to his Bather job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
