History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gnarsh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Gardener like his mother before him.

History: Kûga lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
