History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
