Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

After coming to the age of reason, Fibblestib took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
