He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He married young, but lost his spouse to dire rats. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born in a small island village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 5'4". He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, and his gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
