History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
