Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Roland's homeland. Roland decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his youth he was a Armorer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
