History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Flame alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the north. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Pog is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the south. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Performer for the past few years.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.
