Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mâku does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Mâku was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Ruler. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He married young, but lost his spouse to orcs. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Description: This exceptionally lanky man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
