Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Healer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
