History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ulfgar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He has blue eyes and a brown hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: He is mildly Gnome supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fabien grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fabien fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
