It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the east to a Brewer, Kildrak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has achieved small success as a Brewer.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 70. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.
