Personality: Valafar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Valafar was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Barrister, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ahvain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
