History: Sweet hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Sweet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Sweet. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
