History: Patrin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Patrin has worked very hard to control his curse. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student he started as a Server, but he got bored and became a Map Maker. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Personality: He is a Cook first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Nim was born with his mother's beautiful face. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
