History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bucklal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. One day when Bertram was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead.
