Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aramil was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Rurik abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
