Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hobart embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
