History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Valafar and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered goblins who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
