Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a brown feathered hat and brown clothes, marred by sweets. He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His auburn hair is still thick. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed black hat.
Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

He keeps his blonde hair in a pixie cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: With red face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears skinny pants and wears a black and green robe with the hood down. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. He has gray eyes and a black hat with a green feather.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Miles took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up warhammer and armor he uses now. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he desires power and/or immortality
