His mother taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Cook mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young.
