Description: An older man who prefers to wear flannel, he is not a threatening figure. His gray fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs; and doesn't want to be a barrister and was forced into it by his family

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature warhammer.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Gilbert will drive conversation. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom
