History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His golden hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Thervan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
