History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
