Description: He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered pastel stockings. He is portly but not overly obese. His silver hair is braided into rings. He has amber eyes.
Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Nuraval is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gunter embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Gunter and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His white hair is singed and shortened. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: An older man who is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish brown hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines gray.
Personality: Norman wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and human compassion
